Work for Ms. Coyle’s Class

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well and enjoying your time at home. I’m sure, like me, you are looking for something to keep you busy over the next few weeks. We understand that this is a stressful time for everyone, so the most important thing is to look after each other. So much learning and development happens from spending time together, preparing food, talking to each other, spending time outdoors, singing, dancing, playing board games, drawing, etc..

Below I have some ideas of activities you can do at home over the next few weeks. Don’t feel pressured to complete all the work, remember this is for a full week and a little extra for over the Easter Break. If you have any questions please email me Also, why not email me or tweet a picture of something you enjoyed making / doing during the week. I would love to hear from you.

Please keep an eye on our class Twitter account @MsCoyles. I will be posting different ideas for fun activities and retweeting competitions and events that are running online for children during this time.

Keep an eye out for birds in your locality. Maybe you can take a photo of some and send them to me. If you can’t take a photo you can draw a picture of a bird that you see in your area.

Drawing ideas-

  • Why not learn a song from GoNoodle.
  • Find out your parents favourite song and learn that from YouTube.
  • Look up some more Beatles Songs on YouTube.
  • Sing some Bua Na Cainte songs or any other songs we’ve learned this year.
  • Make up a dance to your favourite song.

Other Activities

Parents, please see this as a helping hand. Use this as a guide and remember you don’t need to cover it all. Do what you can, when you can and remember everything you do will benefit your child. I trust that, you know best at this time, for your own circumstances.

Girls, I know that you will all  try your best over the next few weeks. Try to keep yourself busy and listen to your parents. I can’t wait to get back to school but for now I look forward to seeing some of your work in email and twitter.

Take care, wash your hands and stay two metres away from people when out and about.

Ms. E. Coyle
