We had great fun taking part in all of the activities for Book Week this year! We had a visit from author Alison Weatherby who was very inspiring! The girls took part in paired reading with senior infants and first class. We read the book 'After the Fall' and responded to this story by doing a character study. The girls also made their own paper planes and participated in the whole school paper plane throwing competition! The pupils dressed up as a character from a book and shared a book they enjoyed reading with the class.
